Feeding

feeding_1The volunteers of FEED SA are responsible and accountable for the arranging and delivery of the food hampers at the end of each month – ensuring that each child from each crèche is guaranteed 2 meals a day. In return, FEED SA receives their reports for the month.

Our beneficiaries receive no other parcels of food, other than what the teachers fork out with part of their salary – leaving them with not much thereafter.

By assisting with the food handouts, these teachers are then able to make somewhat of a profit from their small businesses without the concern of feeding these hungry children.

FEED SA is well aware that most acts of violence, crime and theft derive from the feelings of anger and frustration from an empty stomach…
