Another uplifting project on the go…

FEED SA is once again, so proud to announce that we are able to begin yet another building project at one of our Crèches in BraamfisherVille !

We visited Zanokhule crèche in Braamfisher yesterday, where we delivered all educational toys and items, as well as blankets and warm goodies for our nunu’s !!

The teachers were overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, and of course, so were we !!  We are extremely grateful to our sponsors who enable all this to happen.

We also extend a heartfelt thanks to Andy Berzon, one of our teacher trainers who accompanied us on this outing, and explained all the wonderful and educational fun that is to be had with the items we purchased !

The building will commence in 2 weeks time, where we will be levelling the grounds and plastering and carpeting the little school house.  We will also be fencing in the grass areas, making it conducive to outside play in the sunshine !!

We shall keep you posted as we continue to feed hearts, minds and tummies !!

Siyavuya Creche

As we are close to finished with the building of Siyavuya Creche, we thought we’d share the excitement with you, of what is done so far… we will send all the pics once the project is complete, which should be in about 3 weeks time.

This has been an awesome project – on which is going to have such an incredible impact on the school, the teachers, the kiddies AND the community… for Gemina can now take on more kids and earn more money !! We are also going to be planting a vegetable garden !!!!!!!!!!!  VERY exciting stuff !!!

Thanks to Jarrid Levine and Plumbers On Call, and to Caryn Berman and IT WEB…  we have nearly completed the building of a wonderful, new and

improved foundation at Siyavuya Day Care in Soweto.   From only having a

little shack as a “classroom”, we are nearly finished building 2 extra classrooms, in brick and cement, as well as the installation of toilets and ablution !!

We are extremely thrilled about this project and will keep you posted as the building progresses !

YAY !!!!!!!!!!!  no more squashing into one tiny space – how fun and exciting !!

And a HUGE THANKS to you guys, who made this all possible!

Here’s to feeding hearts, minds and tummies… !!!
